Yes, very much. MW2s campaign is one of the best cod campaigns out there and multiplayer is endless fun. And you cant forget about spec ops, get a friend for double the fun, personally, the one where your in the tower sniping people in spec ops is the best mission. Yes, there are aimbots and hacks out already, but with such a huge number of sales, I haven't run into a hacker yet. If you want a fun, new, engaging experience then grab MW2. It's good fun, and if you ever get the urge to have all-out warfare with a huge team, hop back on MW1 for an hour or two. Edit: I added some more points to the list
The only reason people play this game still is because it's Call of Duty. This game should have already died like battlefield. It's going to take several seasons for them to make the improvements required to even think about it competing with peak wz1.

True. There are however people who have not played it, will see the mostly negative reviews- and will skip it. New customers, or even people who just aren't part of the different echochambers. I would say that’s a small number. Most casuals would say oh my friends are playing mw3 I’m gonna buy it to play.
Playing the beta, I just feel like I’ve already bought this game three years ago. the price point is steep. Graphics have barely improved, if at all, gameplay is same old, same old. I just feel there’s not $90 worth of improvement here. This opinion is bound to change, but rn, mw2 is dogshit.
