FIAT STILO 1.4 2004.everything fine untill 2 weeks ago,now key will only open and close doors manualy,key and fob and key battery have been checked OK. The key fob and vehicle is connected by a frequency.

Don't you love super safety systems So if you have have power at the light then one of the proximity swiches is working and telling the body computer to "light the light" - the diode is working as you have power at the light- you have a problem with the bulb/earth wiring back to the catch or the proximity switch at the catch Now being crafty

Hi, I have "new" Stilo 115 JTD 2003, that came with one key without remote control. Also boot lock is stuck. With it I got set of two remote keys and all locks from wrecked 1.6 16v 2002 Stilo with it. Can I replace the locks and programm these two keys to work with my car? I have code cards
#1 Guys, In need of help. Yesterday my central locking stopped working. My door lock has never worked with the key, tried to diagnose why the lock turns but won't unlock but never managed to get the door panel off, I got the trim / door card off, took all bolts out the metal panel but couldn't get into the guts of the door.

If your key fob isn't putting out any acceptable transmissions then it might well be the end of it but that would be the only time that it would need replacing. Change the battery anyway and try it as a garbled frequency won't be accepted by the car What you could do is look on Ebay for a working Stilo key fob (£10). Swop over your metal key
Not sure if I should be posting this question elsewhere. Has anyone had luck programming the key fob to open all doors on first press of open button? I tried the instructions in the manual which says to hold the lock button for 4 seconds, but less than 10 seconds, and then press and hold the unlock button, and then release both.
Just thought I would let people know about my wife's 52 plate 1.6 Stilo. About 3 months ago both remote key fobs started playing up and within a week both stopped working..You could only lock the car and immobilize it with the key. Then BANG suddenly both fobs started to work today, remote
O30 is the resistor pack, H81 is the 4 position fan switch, N85 is the fan motor. If you want to measure the resistances of the pack, measure between pins 1 & 2, 2 & 3 and 3 & 4. If working, they will be very low values, probably between 0.5Ω and 2Ω. You will need the multimeter on its lowest Ohms scale (probably 20Ω or 200Ω).
