My experience was that food and drink in Prague was less expensive than Budapest. We booked a package through an agent so hard to say about exact accommodation pricing but when researching prior to our trip before using an agent I found that Budapest accommodations were cheaper than Prague. I guess all in all they probably even out in the end.
